Trading OA Simulation
A timed two-section assessment: a mental math sprint at real screening pace, then probability and expected-value questions under the clock.
Assessment rules
2 sections, ~40-60 minutes total. Section clocks run continuously; there is no pause. A fixed 30-second break separates sections.
Forward-only: you can skip a question, but you cannot return to it.
The mental-math section (where present) uses the firm preset's penalty scoring: wrong answers cost points, skips do not. Other sections score +1 per correct answer.
No feedback during the assessment. Afterwards, the report reviews every question: your answer against the correct one, with links to full explanations, plus pace against our simulated practice bars (never a firm's real cutoffs).

What this is modeled on
Modeled on candidate-reported OA structures (e.g. Optiver's ~8 min (reported) arithmetic assessment; SIG's 20 or 60 min in reported variants quantitative assessment). Role-generic: not affiliated with or endorsed by any firm; real formats vary by role, office, and year. Last reviewed 2026-08-08.
Free accounts and visitors get a shortened sample at the full format's pace; sample runs aren't saved. Premium unlocks the full format with saved reports.
