3D Tic-tac-toe

Asked at:Jump Trading

In a standard 3×33 \times 3 tic-tac-toe game, a player wins by placing three of their symbols consecutively in a straight line—either in a row, a column, or along a diagonal. Now consider a 5×5×55 \times 5 \times 5 cube (a 3D version of the game). How many distinct straight-line paths of exactly 5 consecutive cells exist in this cube? A valid path must consist of 5 cells that are connected in a straight line—whether along the same row, the same column, or diagonally in any direction.
